Free NHS Dental
Treatment:
If you
are in one of these groups when the treatment starts:
·Young
people under 18 for any course of treatment that starts before
their 18th birthday or young people aged 18 in full-time education,
for any course of treatment that starts before their 19th birthday
· · Women who are pregnant or had a baby in the
last 12 months
· NHS in-patients (if the treatment is carried out by the
hospital dentist)
· NHS out-patients (there may be a charge for dentures
and bridges)
· Community Dental Service patients (there may be a charge
for dentures and bridges)
If you
are in one of these groups when the treatment starts or when the
charge is made:
· People
and their partner getting:
o Income Support
o Income-based Job Seekers Allowance
o Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
o People named on a valid NHS Tax Exemption Certificate
o NHS Exemption Certificate
· People named on an HC2
certificate
· People named on an HC3
certificate might also get help
Note: You
will be asked to show proof of your entitlement to free NHS dental
treatment.
